Quality Management Experience

•          IT Communications, Team Leader – Leader of one of the Eight IT Action and Ambition Initiatives identified to help improve our working environment and quality of work we provide our customers. Our team was assigned into looking at our internal communications problems and implement solutions.

 

•          Six Sigma concepts, Project Manager – Introduced Six Sigma concepts of Defect Rate and Cycle Time Improvements in the Department.

 

•          Strategic Business Three (3) Year Plan, Member – Part of the Team the created the Departments 3 year Business Plan that is tied back to Banks Balance Score Card.

 

•          Division Balance Score Card Progress Measurement and Reporting, Team Leader – Part of the team that created the Balance Score Card for IT aligned to the Banks overall one. Implemented a Performance Measure that ties back and compares our current performance against the Target KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators). The Team created an Intranet-based data gathering and Monthly Reporting medium.

 

•          Systems Division Benchmark, Project Manager – Contracted Anderson Consulting to perform a Benchmark study between the Banks Systems Division against that of peer banks in the Region and Globally. This is part of our Continuous Improvement Program – to measure where we are, where we want to be and how to get there.

 

•          Total Quality Management, Project Manager - (On-Going) Currently Managing the introduction of Quality Management to two other Divisions in the Bank. Initially targeting them for ISO certification as a stepping-stone to Total Quality Management.

 

•          Total Quality Movement, Quality Manager - (On-going) Currently managing our IT’s thrust for TQM. Headed the team that put together the TQM model to use, the measurements  (against the Baldrige Criteria for Excellence) required and implementation plan.

 

•          Systems Division Three (3) Year ISO9001 re-certification , Quality Manager - Managed the on-going maintenance of NCB-Systems Divisions ISO9001 certification through DNV's 3 year major Quality Audit (last 1999) and Semi-Annual Quality Checks.

 

•          IT Quality Process Review and Redesign (Project Blueprint), Quality Manager - Managed the Banks thrust to review and re-engineer the entire IT processes that was certified for ISO 9001 last 1996 for Operational efficiency and automation.

 

•          Project Life Cycle (PLC) Redesign, Project Manager - Managed the reviews implementation of the Banks current PLC (Project Life Cycle) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
